Your manuscripts are out. Now all you have to do is wait…
and wait…
and wait some more…
Uh-oh…you begin to wonder if they received your manuscript. It’s been so long… (Read my post, Status Queries: When and How To Do It).
OR more silence. You could do something productive with all that time. Here are your options:
- Write another book
- Revise an old manuscript. Read all of my posts on revisions, starting with this one: Revision 9-1-1: How To Spot Common Problems and Fix Them.
- Notify people of the status of your manuscript. Read, Status Updates: When and How To Do It.
- Stay in touch with the publishing industry
- Hang out with your writer friends who are also waiting
I’m going to turn each of these bullets into articles as I get the time.
